Responsibilities include supervising front end and assisting cashiers and/or customers with any specific needs. Proactive management of cash office; all tills must be counted, declared, and rebuilt accurately. Bank deposit is then reconciled, counted, and declared. All daily paperwork must entered into Excel. Delegation of closing duties to cashiers is imperative during the end of each closing shift.

Provided excellent customer service while accepting incoming prescriptions from customers as well as medications for pickup. Medication was diligently counted, labeled, and given to pharmacist to scan. All new prescriptions required entry into system. Often, insurance policies had to be entered or adjusted.

Liaison to dietitians and their patients’ physicians and case managers. Daily examination of patient charts was imperative to ensure up-to-date care of patients. Any outstanding diet orders or labs required follow-up calls. All incoming paperwork required immediate input into the patients’ electronic file and distribution to case managers via fax and e-mail. Diligent organization of discharged patient charts.
